Connection is everything

How is it possible to create more opportunities or reasons to connect to your Higher Self on a regular basis. Joy is in the connection.. Release from the mind trap, the game of the ego and reach for the Love that is eternally there for you.

Human interactions are fickle but etheric connection to Self, by definition cannot remove its focus. The well-being flows in a constant stream. Find ways to soften the parade of insults in the self-appraisal.

This morning, albeit only moments ago, I was in a depreciating mindset. The programs of lack from my childhood effortlessly spiral downward into a familiar abyss. It's as if there's a groove in my brain that is ever available. The visceral memories slide in from any emotional place. It takes a concerted effort to look away and find my compassion. It's as if I became tired of reaching for joy, stopped steering and continually crash.

This has become my starting place. Instead of altering my focus through drugs or alcohol, I have decided to blog (blog therapy?). I almost left the house in the fog of doubt then remembered how important this connection is to every moment and wrote.
